Donors to Report on the 990 Tax Form

The 990 tax form is a crucial document for nonprofits, as it provides transparency about the organization's finances and activities.

Once on the Donors page, click on the Filter button, locate and select the applicable tax year for which you need to report donor information.

This will organize the donors based on the total amount they contributed during the selected tax year, making it easier to identify major contributors.

While reviewing the list of donors, keep an eye out for a warning icon indicating donors who are missing an address. Missing addresses for donors who gave significant amounts may pose compliance issues when reporting on the 990 tax form.

For donors missing addresses, take proactive steps to update their information.

Once you have reviewed and updated donor information, you can export the data from Ribbon's system for reporting purposes.
